Woodblock Printmaking with Yvonne Hering, Artist

Try your hand at woodblock printing, a medium based on traditional sensibilities and aesthetics. Experienced printmaker Yvonne Hering’s practice has spanned four decades, including time spent up-skilling in Japan.

Artworks will be created using woodblocks supplied by Yvonne which the class will prepare for printing using Japanese rice glue, watercolour and gouache paints before applying the block to traditional Washi paper with the use of hand barrens.
