Introduction to Chalk Pastels with Sue Schreiber, artist

Join experienced tutor and practising artist, Sue Schreiber for an introductory course in chalk pastel drawing. Over the 6-week course, you will learn the skills, tips and tricks to create a dynamic drawing based on a still-life composition and create a new chalk artwork each week.

Pastels are an easy-to-use and “forgiving” drawing medium suitable for a variety of surfaces including paper, board and canvas. Finished pastel drawings have a rich quality which can easily be mistaken for a painting - without the mess!

This class is suitable for beginners aspiring to kickstart their creative skills, as well as for those with some experience wishing to practise and advance their ability in drawing and shading.
