Botanical Watercolour Drawing with Julie McEnerny, artist

Explore your creativity in a four-week Botanical Watercolour Drawing course with Julie McEnerny. Immerse yourself in the beauty of plants while learning the fundamentals of using watercolour pencils.  With a different plant specimen to study each week, you will go home with a completed artwork at the end of each class.

This four-week course pushes the artistic eye to discern the characteristics of botanical specimens, while maintaining a supportive and fun environment.

Suitable for beginners.

Adults (16+)

Outcomes:

• Learn the basics of botanical illustration, including composition, colour mixing, and technique
• Learn the botanical names of the plant specimens used in sessions.
• Learn to critically observe and accurately render a plant specimen using professional grade materials.
