Jason Wegger was born in Cairns where he continues to live and work.
Jason is an emerging artist who works in digital media and graphite drawings on paper. His work explores the tensions and struggles of contemporary life and culture and presents complex narratives of isolation and dystopia.
Jason’s first solo exhibition was held in Cairns, Queensland, in 2017. Since then, his work has been represented in several exhibitions at the Cairns Art Gallery, including FNQ Contemporaries in 2020 and 2021.
